仪器用途
初粘性测试仪适用于压敏胶带,不干胶标签等相关产品进行初粘性测试试验。标签初粘性测试仪执行 GB 4852 (压敏胶胶带初粘性测试方法——斜面滚球法)标准,采用斜面滚球法的原理通过能够粘信的最大钢球号来表征胶粘制品的初粘性能。
Instrumentation
The initial tackiness tester is designed for evaluating the initial tackiness of pressure-sensitive tapes, self-adhesive labels, and similar products. It complies with the GB 4852 standard (Method for Initial Tackiness Test of Pressure-Sensitive Tape-Inclined Ball Rolling Method). The tester measures the maximum ball size that adheres to the label, which serves as an indicator of the adhesive's initial tackiness performance.

test principle
The initial adhesion strength is determined by either rolling a steel ball across the adhesive surface of a tape laid on an inclined plate, where the maximum ball size that can be retained by the tape's specified length is measured, or by rolling a steel ball of a predetermined size through an inclined groove and measuring its distance on the tape's adhesive surface on a horizontal plate. The inclined ball rolling method evaluates the sample's initial adhesion through the adhesive's temporary contact with the steel ball under slight pressure.

初粘测试试验方法
操作步骤
1、准备工作
(1)将斜面滚球装置调至水平位置,除特殊规定外,将倾斜板的倾角调到 30°。
(2)用蘸有清洗剂的脱脂纱布,擦洗玻璃表面和聚酯薄膜的两面,再用纱布擦干净。
(3)将擦去防锈油的钢球,放入盛有清洗剂的容器内浸泡数分钟,取出后,用清洁的清洗剂和纱布反复清洗擦拭,然后再用干净纱布擦拭干净,清洗后的钢球,应用干净的竹(木、骨)制镊子等工具夹取。
(4)按标准,将胶粘带试样粘性面向上地放置在倾斜板上。在规定部位覆上聚酯薄膜作为助滚段。助滚段应整,无气泡、皱折等缺陷。助滚段以下 100mm 范围为测试段。
(5)用胶粘剂将助滚段两侧及试样下端固定在倾斜板上。必要时,也可以用胶粘带沿测试段两侧边缘加以固 定,使试样平整地贴合在板上。
(6)用镊子把钢球夹入放球器内,调节放球器的前后位置,使钢球中心位于助滚最起始线上,在正式测试前,一个试样允许作多次试测,但应调节放球器的左右位置,使钢球每次滚过的轨迹不重合。试样宽度大于 25 mm 时, 以试样中央 25mm 宽的区域为有效测试区域。
- 预选最大钢球
(1)轻轻打开放球器,观察滚下的钢球是否在测试段内被粘住(停止移动逾 5s 以下)。从大至小,取不同球号的钢球进行适当次测试,直至找到测试段能粘住的最大球号钢球。
(2)取上述最大球号钢球和球号与之衔接的大小两个球,在同一试样上各进行一次测试,以确认最大球号的钢球。
3、正式测试
取 3 个试样,用最大球号钢球各进行一次滚球测试。若某试样不能粘住此钢球,可换用球号仅小于它的钢球进 行一次测试,若仍不能粘住,则须按 1~3 重新测试。
Initial Adhesion Test Method
operating steps
- Preparation
(1) Adjust the inclined ball rolling device to a horizontal position. Unless otherwise specified, set the tilt angle of the inclined plate to 30 degrees.
(2) Clean both surfaces of the glass and polyester film with degreasing gauze dipped in cleaning agent, then wipe clean with gauze.
(3) Soak the rust-removed steel balls in a cleaning agent container for several minutes. After removal, repeatedly clean and wipe the balls with clean cleaning agent and gauze, then wipe clean with fresh gauze. Use clean bamboo (wood, bone) tweezers or similar tools to handle the cleaned steel balls.
(4) Place the adhesive tape sample with its adhesive side facing up on the inclined plate according to specifications. Cover the designated area with polyester film as the rolling aid section. The rolling aid section should be smooth without bubbles, wrinkles, or defects. The 100mm range below the rolling aid section constitutes the test section.
(5) Secure both sides of the rolling aid section and the lower end of the sample to the inclined plate using adhesive. When necessary, apply adhesive tape along the edges of the test section to ensure the sample adheres flatly.
(6) Use tweezers to insert the steel balls into the ball feeder. Adjust the feeder's position to align the ball center with the initial rolling aid line. Before formal testing, allow multiple trials per sample by adjusting the feeder's lateral position to prevent overlapping ball trajectories. For samples wider than 25mm, use the 25mm-wide central area as the valid test zone.
2.Preselected Maximum Ball Size
(1) Gently open the ball feeder and observe whether the rolling balls remain adhered within the test section (stopping movement for less than 5 seconds). Conduct sequential tests using steel balls of varying sizes to identify the largest ball size that adheres to the test section.
(2) The maximum ball number steel ball and the ball number with the connection of the two balls are tested on the same sample to confirm the maximum ball number steel ball.
3. Formal Testing
Take 3 samples, each sample is tested by the ball of the largest ball number. If a sample cannot stick to the ball, it can be replaced by the ball of the smaller ball number to test once. If it still cannot stick, it must be tested again according to 1~3.
